Welcome to the Ethnic Studies Web Site!
California State University, San Bernardino.

Our program looks at ethnicity and race in the U.S. as a way to understand an increasingly multicultural and multiracial (not to mention multilingual!) society; this is especially true in Southern California.

On this site, you can find a description of the Ethnic Studies Curriculum, as well as contact information for Ethnic Studies Faculty in a variety of disciplines.

The Ethnic Studies Program, coordinated by Dr. Mary Fong, oversees the curriculum, offers academic advisement for minors, and arranges for cultural events and talks for the campus. The Ethnic Studies Program is overseen by the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and works closely with the Ethnic Studies Advisory Council.

The Advisory Council draws from faculty, staff, and students from the School of Education, the College of Arts and Letters, the College of Natural Sciences, the School of Business, as well as the College of Social and Behavior Sciences; members of the Advisory Council are pictured below.
We are pleased to announce the Ethnic Studies Roundtable! Please click here for more information
